FAQs
What is the dress code?
We kindly request that all guests arrive in cocktail wedding attire. Given the weather in Virginia in June, we recommend breathable, flowy outfits, as it will be hot. There is a short gravel path, grassy areas, and a few steps that guests will need to traverse to enjoy the festivities, so please keep this in mind when selecting footwear. We ask that no guests wear jeans and avoid wearing white.
When is the RSVP deadline?
To provide final headcount information to all of our vendors and make accurate plans, we request that guests declare their intent on or before April 30th, 2026.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony will take place outside, barring any inclement weather. After the ceremony, guests will enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres and drinks during cocktail hour, which may take place inside or outside under a covered patio. A seated, plated dinner will be served indoors afterwards.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM. Doors to the venue open at 5:00 PM for guests to arrive, grab a beverage, and find their seats. We ask that all guests attending the ceremony be seated promptly at 5:15 PM.
Will there be food and drinks?
Of course! Guests will enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres, a seated, plated dinner, and an open bar, including non-alcoholic options.
Can I bring a plus one?
While we truly believe the more the merrier, we kindly ask that only guests specifically listed on your invitation attend our wedding ceremony and reception.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes! There is ample parking at the venue. If rideshare services are more your style, there are also plenty of options to get to the venue.
Is there anywhere close where we can stay?
Richmond has a myriad of accommodations. Please see our accommodations tab to select the best fit for you and your party. There are a few options depending on your ideal stay.
Where are you registered for wedding gifts?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all, and is all that we ask for. Our small apartment is already filled with items we’ve loved for years. If you would still like to give, we kindly ask for contributions to our downpayment fund to help us in our next steps as a couple.
